About The Position

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors, the Coordinator Medical Practice – Operations, under the direction of the provider, Manager, and RN Clinical Lead, plans, organizes, and directs patient flow on a daily operational basis. Functions within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Organization.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Two (2) years of practice experience required.
Current working knowledge of the importance of business office and clinical care area coordination.
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects: strong organizational skills; highly motivated and self-directed; and attentive to detail.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in leading staff preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists with patient inquiries/concerns regarding medical care, medication instructions, and prescription call-ins in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.
Interviews, evaluates, trains and supports office staff in conjunction with the Manager.
Creates and maintains staffing schedules.
Coordinates activities and functions of the office to ensure a smooth patient flow.
Implements policies, processes, and procedures via the Manager.
Demonstrates a positive customer service attitude/behavior.
Recommends continuous process improvement.
Reviews reports and escalates concerns to Manager.
