About The Position

Reporting to the Manager Marketing, the Coordinator Marketing is responsible for assisting the Marketing Department with day-to-day marketing administrative duties, but not limited to, marketing and financial reporting, invoicing, scheduling appointments, maintaining a calendar, and answering telephones. This person will also assist with marketing initiatives and programs, to include coordinating marketing projects, assisting with the development, execution, and monitoring of email, digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience in marketing, advertising, travel, or hospitality industry a plus.
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Must have a high level of creativity.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.
  • Proficiency in programs in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong desire to learn.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is expected and an essential function of this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of experience in marketing, advertising, travel, or hospitality industry a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Property Marketing department's initiatives with planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, events, social media, and/or content marketing.
  • Assist with developing and managing images, content, and video files .
  • Assist in creating, proofreading, and editing copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistency and brand alignment throughout.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.
  • Review and route creative approval of assets requested by departments and partners.
  • Assist and maintain an accurate filing, reporting, and invoicing system for all vendors and partners, and comply with general office procedures.
  • Preparation and/or audit of documents and reports including meeting recaps, marketing calendar, and other related material.
  • Prepare, submit and track Creative Briefs in Workfront as assigned
  • Assist with reviewing, uploading, managing and deploying content across all property digitals including interior and exterior as assigned
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested of the management team.
