Requirements

  • Ability to understand, read, and speak English at a level of proficiency allowing employee to issue, receive, and respond to both safety and operations related directions in English.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and track necessary parts as repairs are performed
  • Set up master equipment record (maintenance records, work orders, meter readings, unity costing reports, and tracking major components)
  • Receive and enter all maintenance work orders and process through CMMS
  • Maintain truck files with NexTier's CMMS in accordance with DOT compliance and company policies.
  • Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) Files
  • Maintain Fleet registrations within NexTier's CMMS.
  • Maintain tracking system for maintenance/repair hours per mechanic.
  • Schedule maintenance and follow up per piece of equipment.
  • Work with local management to create local procedures to enhance efficiencies.
  • Maintain monthly cost tracking for maintenance including the tracking of all maintenance purchase orders.
  • General clerical assistance to the maintenance manager.
  • Fleet administration, tracking and reporting.
  • Working with finance to ensure proper accounting procedures for fleet management.
  • Coordination with purchasing and receiving departments.
  • Work with maintenance department to stay on target.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
