About The Position

This position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and equipment within the district. The role involves planning, scheduling, and supervising work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and district standards, and managing budgets and resources effectively. The Coordinator will also be involved in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs and responding to emergency repair needs.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in mechanical systems maintenance and management.
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Proficiency in project management and budget management.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
