The Coordinator II, Resource Planning role provides critical operational and compliance support for gas operations. The position is responsible for preparing, managing, and maintaining work orders, maintenance plans, and compliance documentation that enable field crews to safely and efficiently complete mandated and non‑mandated work. Data Entry expertise and accuracy is critical. This role is essential to maintaining safe gas operations, regulatory compliance, and daily field productivity.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Relevant industry experience is required in place of a relevant degree. Minimum 5 years of experience in related resource planning function.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and customer service skills required.
  • Skilled in computer applications with demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Teams) required.

Responsibilities

  • Managing leak tracking and compliance activities in SAP, including leak creation, rechecks, upgrades/downgrades, closeouts, and maintenance plan creation.
  • Preparing and distributing mandated work lists (e.g., Exposed Pipe, ROW, Critical Valves, Winter Patrol, Yellow Card notifications) to supervisors and field crews.
  • Providing real‑time support to field technicians and dispatch, including issuing and correcting orders, troubleshooting SAP/SAM/iPad issues, and resolving job readiness barriers.
  • Ensuring work order accuracy, coding, material reservations, cost alignment (OPEX vs. CAPEX), and proper closeout to support regulatory reporting and audits.
  • Maintaining required regulatory reports (e.g., monthly and annual leak reports, interruption reporting) and supporting audit readiness.
  • Coordinating permits, paving patches, vendor invoices, purchase orders, and records management.
  • Supporting supervisors and managers with operational reporting, ad‑hoc requests, and compliance tracking.
  • Serving as a central coordination point between field operations, engineering, construction, compliance, procurement, and customer service.
