The Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Housing works in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, providing leadership for the Oak Lane residential community and serving as a key partner in supporting student well-being, organizational success, and the fraternity and sorority experience. The role maintains strong working relationships with Housing, Residential Well Being, Facilities and Operations, Services for Students with Disabilities, chapter advisors, house corporations, and inter/national headquarters to ensure coordinated support and a consistent on-campus residential experience. The Coordinator will join the Fraternity and Sorority Life team, a department centered on coaching, educating, and connecting 5,700+ students in 60+ fraternity/sorority organizations on VT's campus. This is a regular twelve-month, 100% Administrative Professional appointment. The Coordinator will oversee all aspects of occupancy management for Oak Lane, including housing applications, assignments, cancellations, billing, and roster processes. The Coordinator supports case management and well-being initiatives and contributes to the annual residential life cycle, including community-building efforts and building openings and closings. The Coordinator selects, trains, supervises, and evaluates a team of 19 undergraduate House Supervisors and, if available, a Graduate Assistant. Additionally, the Coordinator serves as a chapter coach to a portfolio of fraternities and sororities across all four councils, supporting chapter officers, advisors, alumni, parents, and national partners, and assisting with organizational conduct matters in partnership with Fraternity and Sorority Life and Student Conduct.
