Processes accurate claims for reimbursement from Medicare, Commercial, and Government payers. This role involves working outstanding insurance claims for assigned physicians, reviewing and submitting reconsiderations, corrections, and appeals as needed. The position also requires researching insurance policies, answering incoming billing calls regarding patient payments, patient questions, and insurance calls. Additionally, the Coordinator Collections will research patient accounts for refunds, balances, and collections, update patient insurance information, and submit electronic claims.
