About The Position

The Cannabis Retail Supply Chain Coordinator plays a key role in supporting inventory integrity, financial accuracy, and regulatory compliance across the cannabis retail network. Acting as a liaison between stores, vendors, finance, category management and regulatory bodies, this role ensures disciplined execution of inventory processes, purchase order reconciliation, ticket management, and return recovery. Through strong data analysis and cross-functional coordination, the Coordinator helps protect margin, reduce operational risk, and drive scalable supply chain practices in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 0-2 years of experience in retail, supply chain, inventory management, accounting or a related role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
  • Ability to quickly learn ERP and retail systems
  • Must pass a basic security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Execute three-way matching (store receipt, vendor delivery, invoice validation) to ensure inventory and financial accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and reconciliation variances
  • Support procurement execution and maintain accurate inventory data
  • Monitor inventory health including replenishment, aging product, and return activity
  • Oversee the Cannabis Retail Supply Chain ticket board, ensuring timely, accurate, and prioritized resolution of all tickets
  • Triage incoming requests, assign ownership as required, and monitor progress to meet service-level expectations
  • Investigate root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions
  • Communicate status updates and resolutions clearly to stakeholders
  • Track ticket trends to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Manage vendor return processes to ensure timely credits and compliance
  • Partner with stores to ensure proper documentation and adherence to return protocols
  • Identify opportunities to improve return efficiency and minimize shrink exposure
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for store-level supply chain inquiries
  • Provide guidance and training to reinforce process consistency
  • Support inventory accuracy, replenishment execution, and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare and submit required provincial compliance reports
  • Maintain documentation and ensure audit readiness
  • Ensure alignment with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and analyze procurement and inventory data
  • Identify process gaps and recommend scalable, efficiency-driven solutions
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to improve retail supply chain performance
