Requirements

  • A high school diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum of four (4) year of related Building services experience, including dry wall replacement and repair, painting, wallpaper installation and repair, carpet and hard surface repair and replacement, mounting and removal of various hardware pieces.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with users on basic design and layout of smaller construction projects.
  • Evidence of organizational skills and ability to support ongoing multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated computer skills to use TMA, Lawson and Concur software as well as use the Internet to research various products and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Demonstrated ability to stand and stoop for long periods of time and lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coordination, monitoring and completion of Building Service requests through individual efforts as well as those of the Building Services staff at all Mayo Arizona campuses.
  • Coordinates and monitors the efforts of external contract services for the completion of larger scale building service type work orders.
  • Coordinates and oversees activities for crews of 2-10 personnel, as needed, on a daily basis.
  • Utilizes computers to perform Computer Maintenance Management Program (CMMP) to receive, track and close-out work orders (e.g. TMA Replace TMA references with Nuvolo) and works to maintain a 95% completion percentage of all TMA work orders.
  • Utilizes computer software and programs (e.g. Lawson, Concur) in the completion of work activities.
  • May be asked to work with various committees and represent the Building Services Supervisor when necessary.
  • The incumbent may drive a Mayo Clinic vehicle on a regular or occasional basis.
