About The Position

The Office for Prospective Students at the University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Coordinator, Admissions and Recruitment based in Las Vegas. This position is responsible for recruiting admissible students from Southern Nevada and select out-of-state markets, with an emphasis on diversity and academic excellence. The Coordinator implements recruitment strategies developed by the Office for Prospective Students and serves as a representative of the University at a variety of outreach and recruitment events. In this role, the Coordinator engages prospective students and their families by providing information about the admissions process, transfer and enrollment pathways, and available financial aid opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience.
  • Related Experience: work experience in higher education and/or financial aid or related experience.
  • Variable work schedule
  • Significant travel required

  • Grants-in-Aid for Faculty Employees The University is proud to provide a reduced-rate tuition benefit to faculty and qualified dependents. Faculty can take up to six credits per semester at a reduced rate. Dependents of faculty have unlimited credits, but in order to be eligible children must be unmarried and under the age of 24 and must receive at least 50% of their financial support from the employee and/or employee’s spouse or domestic partner.
