About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a full-time IS Coordinator & Trainer for the Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role supports food-service and clinical dietetics software applications across metro campuses, troubleshoots software and in-house hardware issues, and coordinates with vendors and internal departments to resolve problems. The coordinator manages and implements applications, develops and delivers staff training, and works to improve system performance and continuity. The position reports to the Director, Hospitality Services. Physical demands or respiratory fit-test requirements may vary; hazards and adverse working conditions are minimal when standard precautions are used.

Requirements

Associate degree and three years of related experience in Nutrition services.
Knowledge and technical skills to use and train others on a variety of specialized software programs, obtained through formal vendor training or college courses.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Hospitality, Education, Computers, or a related field.
Hospital and/or food-related experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve problems with software applications, in-house hardware, and software; interface with vendors to resolve problems.
Manage and implement new computer applications, and suggest and make system improvements.
Manage Food and Nutrition Management Software, Cash Register Software, and clinical dietetics software applications for metro campuses.
Design training programs and train Central Diet Office, cashier, storeroom, food production, and other staff.
Analyze, evaluate, and plan methods for continual system performance improvement.
Serve as department liaison to Information Technology, Decision Support, and Financial Reporting.
Collaborate with Information Technology to minimize the impact on departmental functions when systems are down or malfunctioning.
