About The Position

This is a COOP internship position for Fall 2026 at Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC), a global leader in the aerospace industry headquartered in Longueuil, Quebec. P&WC manufactures next-generation engines for the world's largest fleet of business, general aviation, and regional aircraft and helicopters. The company has a nearly 100-year history of pioneering advancements in engine development. Pratt & Whitney Canada has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 10 Employers in 2025 by Forbes and ranked #1 in the aerospace and defense industry in the country. The headquarters is also listed among the top employers in the Montreal region. This internship offers an opportunity for students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree to harness their potential, advance their skills, and contribute to innovation. The role is based at the Longueuil location.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • French language (advanced level: spoken and written).
  • Currently pursuing studies in the field of Engineering, Human Resources (HR) or Operations and Production Management (OPM).
  • Mastery of basic office software (mainly: Excel, Outlook, One Note).

  • Experience in manufacturing, lean manufacturing, SAP software
  • Experience in change management

Responsibilities

  • Manage employees in a unionized environment by working closely with the supervisor (ensure smooth day-to-day operations, assign tasks, act as a resource person for the department, apply the rules of the collective agreement).
  • Act as an agent of prevention and compliance with occupational health and safety rules.
  • Take charge and deploy strategies to reduce non-quality.
  • Take charge of projects (layout, health and safety, environment, productivity, etc.) allowing for the continuous improvement of the department.
