About The Position

The Cooler Associate is a fast-paced warehouse role in the Loadout department, supporting the Distribution Center by preparing and moving product for timely delivery to customers. The position involves working closely with others, communicating effectively, and handling product in cold temperatures of approximately 34 degrees. It is a very physical job. Candidates considered for an interview must pass a mechanical aptitude test; the passing score determines the pay rate. Candidates must also pass a drug screen, physical, and lift test. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with rotating Sundays from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. A $2.00-per-hour shift differential is paid while working nights.

Requirements

Pass a mechanical aptitude test; the passing score determines the pay rate.
Pass a drug screen, physical, and lift test.
Be able to work in cold temperatures of approximately 34 degrees.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Communicate effectively and work closely with others.
Demonstrate proficiency in essential job tasks and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Execute warehouse department orders and package shipments.
Load and unload material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
Pull stacks of product from refrigerated trailers and/or pallets.
Load stacks of product onto refrigerated route trucks.
Maintain a clean loadout dock.
Complete varied tasks with quality and timeliness.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs, and quality standards.
Use available time effectively by prioritizing demands.
Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively.
Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making ability as needed.
Demonstrate proficiency in essential job tasks and a willingness to learn.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
