Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, commercial kitchen, catering operation, cafeteria, hotel, healthcare facility, or other fast-paced food-service environment is strongly preferred.
Cooks must have professional food-preparation and cooking experience.
Servers must understand buffet service, replenishment, and professional guest service.
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, kitchen safety, and serving procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move supplies.
Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment and follow all workplace-safety rules.
Availability to support a 24-hour operation, including assigned days, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, portion, and plate meals according to established recipes and dietary requirements.
Operate ovens, mixers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other kitchen equipment safely.
Maintain food quality, proper temperatures, and attractive presentation.
Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
Keep workstations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas clean and organized.
Assist with food production and buffet replenishment.
Work closely with the culinary and service teams to keep meals running smoothly and on time.
Set up, replenish, and maintain buffet and dining areas.
Serve meals professionally, efficiently, and courteously.
Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation and portioning.
Bus tables and keep dining areas clean, sanitary, and welcoming.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment as assigned.
Help receive, organize, lift, and move food-service supplies.
Provide friendly, respectful service to every client and guest.
