About The Position

LV Petroleum is dedicated to providing our customers with delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere. We are currently hiring Cooks and Servers to join our growing team at our IHOP location. If you’re passionate about food, hospitality, and working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you! These positions are separate and we do offer cross-training for both!

Requirements

Previous experience in a food service or customer service role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Food safety certification is a plus, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items with attention to quality and presentation
Assist with ingredient prep and maintain proper stock levels
Contribute ideas for specials and promotions
Greet and seat guests promptly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen
Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
Check on guests during their meal and address any concerns
Process payments accurately (cash and credit cards)
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
Clear and reset tables efficiently
Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and supplies as needed
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
Support fellow team members during busy periods
