About The Position
CocuSocial, a leading culinary experience provider, is looking for experienced Chef Instructors to lead engaging, hands-on cooking classes in Sacramento. Classes are held at various partner venues, catering to guests of all skill levels. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, skilled in sharing culinary knowledge, and comfortable in an interactive teaching environment.
Requirements
- Passionate about food and excited to share culinary skills with others
- Professional culinary background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking to and engaging groups of up to 26 guests
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- English (preferred)
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience teaching cooking classes, culinary education, demonstrations, team training, or other instructional environments
- Access to a venue (your home, commercial kitchen, restaurant, event space, etc.) that may be suitable for hosting classes
Responsibilities
- Lead and organize the entire class experience, including ingredient purchasing, setup, instruction, and cleanup
- Create a fun, engaging, and beginner-friendly learning environment
- Teach classes in a hands-on, interactive format
- Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and organization throughout the event
- Represent CocuSocial professionally while delivering exceptional guest experiences
