About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and engaging Cooking and Nutrition Kids Teacher to lead after-school classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching children about cooking and nutrition in an interactive and fun environment. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM and run from November to December 2026. The compensation is $75 per hour of class.
Requirements
- Experience teaching children, preferably in a cooking or nutrition context.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and nutrition principles.
- Ability to manage a classroom of young students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available Monday-Friday from 2:30 PM-4:00 PM.
- Must be available from November to December 2026.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in curriculum development for children's programs.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
