About The Position
Insomnia Cookies is a rapidly growing, late-night, sweet indulgence company. We are actively interviewing Delivery Drivers for our Ardmore store. As a Delivery Driver, you are our "Boots on the ground!", and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! You give the word "Delivery" a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are. When you're not out making deliveries, you'll be part of the bakery team—helping prepare orders, welcoming guests, and keeping the bakery running smoothly. Every shift is different, but one thing never changes: our commitment to delivering warm cookies and exceptional hospitality. Requirements
- Must have your own car, license, valid registration, and valid insurance
- Must be able to pass a motor vehicles background check
- Must have a smartphone with data plan
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
- Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements.
- Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
- Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the 2-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
- Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion.
- Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
- Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.
- Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile.
- Ensure every order arrives warm, complete, and ready to impress.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices.
- Welcome guests in the bakery and provide friendly service between deliveries.
- Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders.
- Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
- Operate the register and process guest transactions.
- Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
- Work closely with your bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.
- Help create the kind of guest experience that keeps people coming back.
