About The Position
This position is responsible for setting up and operating machinery used for cooking while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Cooker operator controls the cooking process from hydrolyzing the product to a finished product. The schedule is Monday - Friday, with some Saturday work, from 2:30 PM until production end. The starting pay rate is $18.25/hr plus a $2/hr shift differential.
Requirements
- 6 months continuous work history in 2 years
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Responsibilities
- Running the Machinery that processes the meat into make meal.
- Transferring of hydrolyzed meal to storage.
