About The Position
Newton Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Cook to prepare food according to menus and recipes, accepted dietary practices, and directions from the department director or supervisor. The Cook helps ensure residents receive high-quality meals and an excellent dining experience, puts residents first, treats the community as the residents’ home, and models person-centered care. The role is full-time and day-shift; pay starts at $12.50 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under the Premium Pay Plan and additional pay based on experience.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is desired.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to appropriate menus and recipes.
- Follow accepted dietary practices and directions from the department director or supervisor.
- Help ensure every resident receives high-quality food and an excellent dining experience with each meal.
- Put residents first, help create a home-like community, and model person-centered care.
