About The Position

Chesapeake's is hiring a Cook to join our West Knoxville team! Come be part of one of East Tennessee's premier seafood restaurants. Chesapeake's has built its reputation on serving fresh seafood, quality ingredients, and exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced, professional restaurant environment. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking day and night-shift Cook who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a strong kitchen team. This position plays an important role in preparing products for both Chesapeake's restaurant and marketplace, helping our team deliver the quality our guests have come to expect. Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh products and ingredients for the restaurant and marketplace
• Follow recipes and menu specifications to ensure consistency and quality
• Assemble and portion ingredients accurately
• Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures
• Use digital scales, thermometers, and other kitchen equipment
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Keep your workstation clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
• Help ensure kitchen equipment is operating properly
• Work alongside the culinary team to keep daily operations running smoothly
• Jump in and help the team wherever needed
