About The Position
Calyx Living is seeking an energetic Cook for its assisted living community in Wakefield, North Raleigh. The Cook will work with a small crew in the community bistro, preparing and presenting food for senior residents. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with prior experience cooking and preparing meals in a senior living setting.
Requirements
- Cooking experience is required.
- Ability to follow recipes and plate food attractively.
- Ability to understand and comply with state food-service regulations.
- Ability to prepare, organize, and handle minimal special requests from senior residents.
- Ability to interact with residents in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak meal service times.
- Availability to work weekends.
