About The Position

Mercer Terrace is hiring a Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents in an assisted living and memory care setting. The Cook follows standardized recipes and quality standards, maintains kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health department regulations, and works with team members to support resident satisfaction. The role also cross-trains in other dining service positions to support department operations. This is a PRN, as-needed role with day-shift and weekend hours, including occasional holidays. The position pays $17–$19 per hour, with credit for experience.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and reach.
Must have an active Food Manager's certificate.
At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting is required.
