About The Position

The Cook prepares high-quality food for patients and the cafeteria at a critical illness recovery hospital serving chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The role supports the hospital’s commitment to compassionate, excellent patient care by preparing food and maintaining kitchen equipment in accordance with standardized recipes, portion control, nutritional services information, and regulatory requirements.

This is a PRN/per-diem position in Miami Lakes, Florida, paying $22 per hour. Part-time and per-diem employees may qualify for a 401(k) after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or a subsequent calendar year. The employer describes an extensive orientation program and potential advancement to full-time opportunities.

Requirements

• At least one year of cooking experience.
