About The Position

Pinellas County Rehabilitation Hospital is hiring a PRN Cook. The Cook prepares and serves food for patients, employees, and special events, following proper food-handling and food-safety techniques. Food should taste good, be served at the proper temperature, and be presented attractively in accordance with established standards. The Cook also maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards.

Pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Six months of experience in quantity food preparation.
• Food Handlers Certificate if required by the local city, county, or state.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet strict time frames.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with therapeutic diet preparation.
