About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, opening February 2025, is seeking a Cook PRN to join their team. This role will involve preparing and serving food for patients, employees, and special events, ensuring proper food handling, safety techniques, and attractive presentation. The position also requires maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The hospital is a new facility with 60 private patient rooms and two rehab therapy gyms equipped with cutting-edge technology.

Requirements

• Six months’ experience in quantity food preparation.
• Food Handlers Certificate (If required by Local City, County or State)

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food using proper food handling and food safety techniques for patients, employees and special events.
• Ensures foods taste good, are served at the proper temperature, and are presented in an attractive manner in accordance with established standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards.
