About The Position

Greenwood Village South is hiring a full-time Cook for its Life Plan Community in Greenwood, Indiana. The Cook prepares food for residents according to standard recipes and special diet orders, helps ensure meals meet temperature standards, and supports daily meal production and events. The role works in a fast-paced, changing environment and provides opportunities for meaningful connections with residents and career growth.

The listed shift is 10:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m., including every other weekend, with other shifts as needed. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with additional experience pay and shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Ensure food is at an acceptable temperature.
• Check daily events to ensure food-service needs are met.
• Determine the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus.
• Obtain supplies from storage areas for meal production.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
