About The Position

Taco Mac is seeking friendly, energetic, highly motivated candidates to join its culinary team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Line Cook completes assigned prep work, sets up the cook's station, maintains product presentation and quality, meets cook-time standards, and prepares menu items according to company recipes, plate presentations, and specifications. The role also includes setting up equipment, verifying stock, cleaning equipment, and preparing food to specification while maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25–70 pounds.
• Ability to use knives, slicing tools, and other food preparation equipment.
• Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for periods of up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned prep work.
• Set up the cook's station and equipment.
• Verify stock.
• Maintain product presentation, product quality, and cook-time standards.
• Prepare menu items according to company recipes, plate presentations, and specifications.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
