About The Position
Responsible for food and order preparation and production of all food items. The Cook prepares all food orders according to standard practices and procedures for patient room service and the Dogwood Café.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Ability to concentrate on tasks requiring accuracy in a busy and noisy environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team with different personalities.
- Ability to communicate well with customers and calmly cope with customer demands.
Nice To Haves
- Three years of experience.
- Serve/Safe Certification.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and café area.
- Perform closing duties in the kitchen and café.
- Perform some dish duties.
- Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and menus.
- Cook and prepare food orders for patient room service and the Dogwood Café.
