About The Position

Clean2TheKore is hiring a Cook for the kitchen at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Cook prepares food for patients, staff, doctors, and guests, including patient meals, retail café service, the doctors' lounge, and catering orders. The role also involves keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and organized while following food-service and hospital requirements. The schedule is 10:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m., with rotating weekends.

Requirements

• A Food Handler or ServSafe certificate, or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
• A background check and drug screen are required before starting.
• Complete hospital onboarding, including a flu shot or declination.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food using standard recipes to ensure consistent results.
• Cook for patient meals, the retail café, the doctors' lounge, and catering orders.
• Keep the work station clean and organized and follow HACCP and sanitation rules.
• Follow OSHA, infection-control, and HIPAA rules.
• Greet and communicate with patients and guests using AIDET.
• Use Computrition, the hospital's food-service system.
