About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated cook to join our culinary team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and takes pride in preparing quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety and sanitation standards. This is a Full-Time Position and requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Early morning and breakfast experience is strongly preferred. The role operates within a high-volume production environment and a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Requirements

• Previous professional cooking experience required
• Must be available Saturdays and Sundays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable
• Detail-oriented
• Able to maintain composure during busy service periods

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or institutional food service preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Experience preparing meals for special dietary needs is a plus
• Experience with textured diets (minced, ground, chopped, and pureed foods) is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Execute breakfast, lunch, and dinner service as assigned
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Assist with prep, production, and station organization
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
