About The Position

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Cook performs duties related to preparing and serving meals for patients, staff, and guests. Duties include preparing food items for patient and retail food services according to standard recipes; portioning, garnishing, and setting up food for service; display cooking; setting up and serving meals; cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas between uses; and maintaining accurate production records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four to six months of prior institutional or commercial quantity cooking experience.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational training in Culinary Arts.
