About The Position

As a Cook at Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Resort, you will prepare and serve quick-service food and beverage items in the golf course and/or shooters club kitchens. The role focuses on efficiently preparing short-order menu items, keeping the workspace clean, and providing fast, friendly service to guests and residents in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous food service or quick-service kitchen experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good time management, teamwork, and effective communication skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

• Food Handler or ServSafe certification may be required by local laws or employers.

Responsibilities

• Cook and assemble menu items such as burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and fried snacks using grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Follow health department regulations, monitor food temperatures, and practice safe food handling.
• Rotate and label stock to reduce waste, and restock condiments, ingredients, and supplies.
• Greet guests and residents, take or fulfill orders accurately, and maintain a friendly attitude during busy hours.
• Clean cooking surfaces, equipment, counters, and dining or preparation areas throughout the shift.
