About The Position

As a Cook at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will help provide Owners and guests with experiences and events that create memorable vacation memories. You will prepare food using a range of kitchen equipment, follow food safety and handling procedures, and contribute to guest service and team goals. The role requires availability for various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days, as well as the ability to perform the physical tasks described in the posting. The position pays $26.75 per hour. Requirements

Be available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull, and stoop; and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare food.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company food safety programs.
Cook potentially hazardous food to the correct temperatures in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
Follow food safety and handling policies and procedures.
Set up and break down the workstation with the required tools, equipment, or supplies.
Welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and address them.
Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
Contribute to team goals.
Follow company policies and safety procedures.
