About The Position

This position includes both the cook and dietary aide functions. Descriptions are the same for either position unless noted. COOK: Food preparation and production according to department requirements for quality, quantity, safety and nutrition, while meeting established meal schedules. Maintains sanitary environment including dish washing. The Position: .7 FTE. 56 hours per pay period. The Shift: 7am - 3:30pm or 10:45am to 7:15pm. Rotating Schedule. Pay: Starts at $16.50, increase with experience.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write and speak effectively to identified customers.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Must know recipe preparation techniques, including measuring and cooking processes.
Knowledge of cooking terminology is required.
Post offer drug screen is required.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent certificate preferred.
Previous experience in food service of 4-5 years is preferred.
