About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Cook is to deliver the highest quality food service possible for a positive senior living experience for all our residents and employees at BSL. Bainbridge Senior Living consists of four family-owned and operated Assisted Living & Retirement Communities along Madison Avenue on beautiful Bainbridge Island, Washington. They are dedicated to being the region's premier senior living provider by ensuring all their houses feel like home.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D) preferred
Proficient at reading, writing, and communicating in English
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Able to push, pull, carry and walk 80% of the work day

Responsibilities

Provide top notch dining services while creating positive interactions with our residents
Communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure top level dining services are provided while working together to problem solve
Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the broader community to create a supportive and inclusive living environment.
Ensure highest quality of dining services are provided to residents while meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
Follows all policies and procedures while supporting the organization’s goals and values and remaining professional at all times.
