About The Position
40North Restaurants is hiring Cooks for our new restaurant opening this fall. We’re looking for dependable team members who take pride in preparing great food and keeping a clean, organized kitchen. 40North Restaurants is the full-service division of Villa Restaurant Group, a family-owned, multi-brand restaurant company. Bring your kitchen skills and help us get ready for opening day!
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently during busy service.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up, stock, and maintain your station.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to complete orders accurately and on time.
- Communicate allergy requests, supply needs, and equipment concerns.
- Help minimize waste and maintain consistent portions.
- Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
