Requirements
- Experience in a similar role or environment is required
- Possesses strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with evening and weekend shifts
- Food Safe Certified is required
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Follow planned menus and approved recipes
- Prepare products maintaining standards of quality, proportioning, and presentation
- Control and minimize food waste
- Report low quality product and spoilage to supervisor
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly
- Report potential safety hazards
- Perform cleaning duties as directed
- Follow food safe guidelines while preparing and cooking food products
- Assist with training of new staff during shift
- All other duties as assigned
