About The Position

Bring your passion for food and people to the next level as a culinary leader at Wegmans. In a people-first kitchen, lead a team of prep and line cooks by helping them refine their culinary skills, grow their careers, and fuel their passion for food. Use leadership, culinary expertise, and attention to detail to manage daily operations and contribute to profitability. The role offers variety and access to fresh, high-quality ingredients throughout the store. The position is located at 600 Commerce Drive, Collegeville, PA 19426. It is full-time, with morning, afternoon, and evening availability required, including weekends. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Pay is $21.75–$23.25 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of prep or line cook experience.
Experience leading a team.
Knowledge of relevant products.
Basic knife skills.
Must be 18 years or older.
Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Highlight product quality, freshness, and uniqueness through proper merchandising.
Follow recipes, use proper knife skills, and apply cooking techniques to ensure consistency.
Share food knowledge and passion with customers by suggesting meal ideas using products from departments around the store.
Manage employee performance, including training, feedback, and development opportunities.
Lead prep and line cooks and help them develop their culinary skills and careers.
Manage daily operations and contribute to profitability.
