Requirements

2 years of food handling or cook-related experience is required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role with in-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, and hear. In addition, the employee is occasionally required to taste and smell.
The team member frequently is required to climb or balance.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and plating consistency.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
