About The Position

This role is responsible for preparing food products according to standard recipes and specifications, ensuring food is properly stored, handled, and held at the correct temperatures. The Cook Level 2 also plays a part in maintaining a positive service culture, ensuring cleanliness of work areas, and adhering to all company policies and procedures. This position requires knowledge of promotions and events, and the ability to present food in an appealing manner.

Requirements

Must be aware of all temperature-controlled equipment.
Must demonstrate competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity.
Must ensure department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
Must keep work areas and kitchen / prep areas clean and organized.
Must ensure food is garnished and eye appealing.
Must have knowledge of all promotions and events.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a Sportsbook and Bar environment.
Demonstrates positive responses to training by chefs.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
Responsible for following kitchen cleaning list of all equipment and food prep and storage areas on a daily basis.
Ensure food is hot and held at the proper temperatures before leaving the kitchen.
Prepares food products according to standard recipes and specifications and demonstrates positive responses to training by chefs.
Be aware of all temperature-controlled equipment.
Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity.
Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
