About The Position

Hotel Equities is searching for a remarkable Cook I for the Tulsa Club Hotel in Tulsa, OK. This role is for an individual who takes pride in creating quality food, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and understands the impact a great dining experience has on a guest’s stay. We’re looking for a dependable and team-oriented Cook I to prepare food in accordance with production requirements, brand standards, and quality expectations while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt standards preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
• Ability to read recipes and follow instructions accurately
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment including ovens, slicers, mixers, steamers, and grills
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to recipes, guest requests, and brand standards
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the kitchen
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products
• Assist with requisitions, inventory, and receiving deliveries
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Coordinate with kitchen leadership and other hotel departments
• Promptly report maintenance or safety concerns
• Support buffet, banquet, and event preparation as needed
• Deliver professional, courteous service to guests and team members alike
