About The Position
The Cook I assists in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary work area. The role also assists with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotation practices and may assist the kitchen attendant as needed. The position is at Vi at Lakeside Village in Lantana, Florida. Shift hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with flexibility to work Monday through Sundays and holidays.
Requirements
- Basic knife skills.
- Ability to handle kitchen equipment.
- Ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Possess or be willing and able to obtain a Food Handler certificate, as required.
- Possess a valid and current driver's license, where applicable.
- Comply with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience within a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living company is preferred.
