This position is for a Cook/Housekeeper at the Program Bay Ridge IRA 2 and Bay Ridge IRA 3, located in Brooklyn. The role is full-time, split between two floors, with working hours from Monday through Friday, 11 am to 7 pm. The Cook/Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and flexibility, adhering to policies and procedures, using effective communication and time management skills, and being a team member. Key duties include ensuring maintenance upkeep and safety, completing mandatory trainings, understanding health, wellness, and safety, and knowing when to contact an administrator for support. The role also involves building positive relationships, cooking and preparing meals according to dietary needs, and performing various cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen appliances and cabinets, discarding expired foods, and emptying trash receptacles. Additional cleaning responsibilities may arise as needed.
