This is a part-time position with benefits, requiring 20 hours per week. The role has two primary assignments: Custodian and Cook Assistant. As a Custodian, the employee will be responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance of the building, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and stocking restrooms, cleaning up spills, notifying supervisors of repairs, collecting trash, and cleaning windows and glass doors. As a Cook Assistant, the employee will help prepare, cook, and serve meals and snacks according to guidelines and schedules, ensuring safe and presentable food preparation and service. This also includes cleaning kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances, and maintaining an orderly inventory of kitchen supplies and food.
