About The Position
Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is recruiting experienced Cook and Dietary Aides for a long-term care nursing facility in Cumming, GA. This role involves preparing and serving meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring resident satisfaction with food quality and presentation. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Nursing Home, senior living, hospital, and healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepares food according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals.
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
- Tastes all prepared food items for quality control.
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains standards of cleanliness.
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
- Performs other job-related duties as they become required.
- Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks.
- Delivers trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms.
- Assembles resident meal trays.
- Works in the dish room and pot sink.
- Sweeps and mops.
- Disposes of trash and recyclables.
- Follows proper cleaning techniques of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
