About The Position

Join the culinary team at The Wharf, a seafood-from-scratch restaurant at Orlando Sunset Walk. The Cook 2 helps prepare fresh, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, resort-style kitchen and contributes to teamwork and exceptional guest experiences. NDM Hospitality is a family-owned company that began in food and beverage and is expanding into vacation rentals. It combines the comfort of vacation homes with the consistency and service of world-class resorts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Food Safety Certification required, such as SafeStaff or ServSafe.
Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
Ability to work quickly and consistently in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare fresh ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.
Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and storage containers.
Work multiple stations and assist team members as needed.
Ensure food is cooked to proper temperature and presentation standards.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
Lift and move up to 25 lbs; stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
