About The Position

The Conviva Student Extern position provides physician assistants with supervised clinical exposure in internal medicine as part of their formal educational program. The extern will work under minimal direction, within established departmental protocols, and will be expected to demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to quality care.

Requirements

• Selected for the South University, West Palm Beach Physician Assistant Clerkship, with assignment at Conviva Okeechobee located at 5849 Okeechobee Blvd., Suite 301 West Palm Beach, FL 33417.
• Eligible to work in the United States (Social Security Number required as part of the application).
• Submission of a written attestation that you do not have a felony record (this will be provided to you upon program matching).
• Availability for the entire rotation period from September 28 – October 30, 2026, and work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST (4 weeks / 160 Course Hours).
• Demonstrated passion for enhancing patient and consumer healthcare experiences.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Active involvement in campus activities and/or community service.
• Expressed interest in a career in the healthcare industry.
