About The Position

The Converting Stacker manufactures corrugated material and counts and stacks finished product. The role also involves reading factory orders, gauges, and other test equipment; using basic mathematics; and accurately completing quality and administrative documents. General housekeeping includes blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap. The employee serves as an Assistant Machine Operator and should be prepared to promote to the next position level when a vacancy becomes available. Other duties may be assigned by management.

This is an hourly, full-time third-shift position, scheduled 11 p.m.–7 a.m., Monday through Friday, with a $0.30-per-hour shift differential. Employees must be willing to work any shift. Twelve-hour shifts and/or weekend work may be required when needed to meet production goals, and overtime may be needed. The job is located at Beltline/Carrollton Container in Carrollton, Texas. The pay rate is $25.31 per hour. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered after 30 days and another $500 after six months.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must consent to a background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new things, receive instructions, and follow instructions.
• Must be willing to work any shift.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities
