About The Position
The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring product adheres to our quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and safety protocols.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications and safety standards
- Perform machine startup, shut down and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of machines.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize performance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Operating electric pallet jack, roll lifts and hoists.
- Document production output, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
- Performs quality checks per Pregis Quality Management System.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned.
